Most memory care communities won't put a number on the page. We will. Encompass is all-inclusive from $6,500/month — one rate, with the surcharges and “levels of care” built in, not bolted on.
Most memory care in Scottsdale is sold as a low “base rate” — then a care assessment adds a level-of-care fee, and à-la-carte charges stack on top: medication management, incontinence care, supplies, extra assistance. By the time the bill arrives, families are often paying far more than the number they were quoted. We think that's backwards. So here's ours, in plain sight.
One rate covers care, meals and snacks, incontinence supplies, household essentials, and the care plan. The only things not included are services that require a third-party vendor.
If it's needed inside the home, it's in the rate. The exceptions are simple and honest.
In other words: the only things we don't cover are services delivered by an outside provider. Everything that happens inside the home is in your rate.
A community advertises “starting at $4,500.” Then comes a care-level assessment (+$800–$2,000/mo), a medication-management fee, an incontinence-supply charge, and add-ons for extra assistance. Many Scottsdale families end up at $7,000–$9,000+ once the real care their loved one needs is priced in — well above the headline number that got them in the door.
Our all-inclusive rate is designed so the number you're quoted is the number you pay. As needs change, the price doesn't quietly climb with them.
Tell us about your loved one and we'll give you a clear, all-inclusive quote — no assessment-fee games, no pressure.
Rooms start at $6,500 per month, all-inclusive. Your exact rate depends on the room you choose. Unlike most communities, that price already includes care, meals, incontinence supplies, medication management, and household essentials — there's no separate “level of care” fee layered on top.
It means everything provided inside the home is in your monthly rate: care, meals and snacks, incontinence supplies, medication management, housekeeping, laundry, household supplies, and activities. The only things billed separately are services that require a third-party vendor.
Only outside-vendor services — visiting physicians, home health or therapy, hospice, the prescription medications themselves, and personal vendors like a salon or podiatrist. These are billed by those providers, not by us.
Our model is built specifically to avoid the surprise increases families dread. Because care is already included, growing needs don't trigger the escalating level-of-care surcharges common elsewhere.
Because ours is the real number, not a base rate. A $4,500 ad often becomes $7,000–$9,000+ once assessments and add-ons are applied. We'd rather quote you honestly up front than win you with a number that won't hold.
Many families use long-term care insurance or Veterans benefits to help cover memory care. We're happy to talk through how these may apply to your situation — call us and we'll point you in the right direction.
